The Sciota Micks Biography

Sciota Micks graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Music in 1990 and went on to The Recording Workshop in Masseville, Ohio, graduating from there in 1991. Sciota Micks staked his claim in New Orleans under the bands Train of Thought and The Nexus, formed in collaboration with Eric Michael Sand while working as a sound engineer with Chris Polacek from Say Yes Studios. The Nexus changed its name to the Sasquatch Houseparty and moved to Providence, Rhode Island and rocked New England for two years, disbanding in 1994. Sciota Micks moved back to New Orleans and continued jamming with dynamic drummer, Jim Colleran from the Sasquatch Houseparty, and various musicians in the Big Easy. Sciota Micks then moved to Panama City Beach, Florida and continued his Music education at Gulf Coast College and formed the bands Flush and Speckled Jim. Speckled Jim recorded an SP in 2003 and continued rocking the Gulf Coast till late 2004. In 2005, Sciota Micks moved to Seattle, Washington, founded Signature Music, and is currently producing his second album - Under the Ceiling. Stay Tuned!
