General Company Description
The Seattle Institute of Guitar will become a private educational institution with
the vision of teaching students the intricacies of theory and application in the
instruments of guitar and bass. Our focus will be instructing students with a
one-on-one to group basis implementing all styles of music in hopes of accelerating
the skills needed to perform adequately and effectively in the contemporary
entertainment industry.
Mission Statement
The Seattle Institute of Guitar provides the aspiring, beginner,
intermediate and advanced guitar or bass student with the instructional environment necessary to
develop their musical talents and acquire the skills to become one of today's professional musicians.
The Seattle Institute of Guitar's curriculum accomplishes this through class and private instruction;
audio and video computer lab instruction; and live clinics featuring Seattle's most well-known and
innovative guitarists and music industry professionals.

Professionals teach the Seattle Institute of Guitar's courses whose work experience; certification and/or music
degrees give each instructor the background to teach the demanding curriculum needed
for the comprehensive music industry.
The concept surrounding the Seattle Institute of Guitar is that music is the
universal language for all people of the world; therefore; it invites and welcomes students from diverse backgrounds.

Company Goals and Objectives
The Seattle Institute of Guitar's goals are
to establish an environment where students can achieve the best possible training in
the instruments of the guitar or bass. We want to provide a curriculum and program
that enables their achievements to provide them success in the prolific music industry.
The objectives of the Seattle Institute of Guitar are to provide the students with quarterly based, four level programs that
encompass a one-year time frame. The student however, can opt-in for each level independently based on their expertise and
understanding of the guitar or bass instruments. Graduations will be held at the end of each level and the students completing
those levels will receive a certification recognizing their achievements as a professional in the instruments of guitar or bass.
The Seattle Institute of Guitar
is an educational environment and its primary focus is to prepare each student with the essential skills in order to
succeed in the gregarious music industry. Although the music industry is constantly upgrading itself, we too will adapt to the
technological and informational changes that it goes through, keeping each student abreast with an understanding of the evolutionary process.
The Seattle Institute of Guitar
will provide students with experienced,
certified or degree leveled professionals and instructors competent in the music industry. With the popularity of music institutions in California
and the East Coast, it is apparent that Seattle, as well as the Northwestern corridor of the United States needs a similar school that can develop its musicians
into competent professionals providing them an education that will enable their success in the music industry. As the founder of the Seattle Institute of Guitar,
Kenneth Galloway Palmer brings the necessary skills to this school with a degree at the Atlanta Institute of Music, Music Theory at Gulf Coast College and seventeen years
of experience in the music industry
